Hopefully you all are well, and we will get our economy back in the not too distant future. Stay well, and look forward to summer- Ann and Hank

Ann and I have been enjoying the summer, and spending time at our wildwood location.
Fall has arrived on schedule, along with an influx of work. We are enjoying restoring a lot of antiques so far, and flling in dinning room furniture for the many Holidays right around the corner.
Still some slots available to get your pieces complete for your family holidays-Hank

Wow, Time flys, and Im getting slower.
Another great year for Renaissance Upholstery and our family. Our youngest, Tracy was married this fall and taken a position at Barrows furniture, while continuing her work with us as our design consultant.
Hope everyone had a great new years!!

Summer has traditionally been a slow period for us, and a time to catch up on needed projects. Not this year. With the work coming in from our Cape May location, we are just keeping up with demand. It is ,of course a good problem to have. Would like to ask those looking for work to be done for Thanksgiving to be sure to get to us early this year, to guarantee delivery.

The Holidays have come and went, so its time to get back to work. We have an interesting Victorian couch that we should be starting soon. Ann is excited to work on this piece, as it is quite beautiful , and unique. Plan on taking a bunch of before and after pictures on that one. It sounds so early, but customers are looking to get their spring pieces done for Valentines day, Easter, etc.

Christmas is coming, and as usual, we are increasing our hours to keep up with everyone that has just looked at their dining room chairs, and noticed that they really need to be reupholstered b4 the holidays. We probably can commit to about 8 more sets that can be completed b4 Dec 22. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!! Ann and Hank

Well, after many years in business, we are pleased to announce our second location, in Wildwood NJ. We had purchased a home there a few years ago, and have been fixing it up since then. Repairs are complete, and have opened Rennaisance Upholstery-Cape May to service customers with summer homes. We have completed a few pieces, and our NJ customers have been pleased with the results.

Thanks for a fantastic 2014 2014 went by so fast it was like a ride at disneyland. In addition to our most successful year yet, we have added our first franchise location, Renaissance Upholstery-State College , run by Tom Bellet. Tom will be specializing in antique, and classic furniture reupholstery, and window treatments as well as working with Penn State University with their needs. We have also started doing work for Cape May NJ. customers. We have a shore home in NJ, and will work out of that location on weekends. |

We recently were asked to participate in anarticle in Woodworking Magazine. Ann has been making leather cushions for a woodworker in Skippack. The style chair he manufactures is called a Morris Chair. Anyhow, the article just came out, and the chair and cushions are on the front cover.
Woodworking magazine was so pleased they asked us to participate in another article on ottomans in the near future

Fall has arrived all to quickly here at Renaissance Upholstery. Usually we have a slow down in the late summer months, but certainly not this year. Ann has been working on some beautiful victorian pieces that will be completing this week. Next up are a few contemporary pieces that ran afoul of the family pet. Hope all have a great Holloween.
